鑄鐵井蓋：開(kāi)發(fā)歷史較早，鑄鐵井蓋組分是鑄鐵。 優(yōu)點(diǎn)：強(qiáng)度高，使用耐久。 缺點(diǎn)：鑄鐵性能比較脆，容易破碎，甚至斷裂；能耗高：制作時(shí)需兩次成型，先制成生鐵，后澆鑄成鑄鐵井蓋，這兩道工序的能耗都很高；制作工藝步驟多，成型制作周期較長(zhǎng)；鑄鐵井蓋使用時(shí)跳動(dòng)噪聲大。
